Founded in 1996, Stored Energy Concepts has been designing, manufacturing, and offering expert advice in the fields of pyrotechnics and electronic devices. The company has been independently owned and serving an international clientele from all reaches of the globe. Innovative designs have led to numerous patents over the years. Our commitment to quality led us to achieve ISO certification. Our recent strides in the engineering community are a testament to our commitment to raising the bar in search of perfection for our customers.
Rich Lisowski, founder and CEO, was 38 years old when he made the decision to start his own business from the ground up, and set up shop in the basement of his Pennsylvania home. From there, he grew his reputation in the field of bridgewire welding and pyrotechnics. His hard work and dedication led to increased demand for his products and expertise in the field and resulted in the need to relocate the company. Operations for Stored Energy Concepts were moved to a historic granite polishing plant in the rural setting of St. Peter’s Village, Pennsylvania. At that time, Stored Energy Concepts was incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania and became Stored Energy Concepts, Inc. In the spirit of success and commitment to growth, we acquired a 28,000 square foot facility and moved operations in October 2018.
Customers have been drawn to Stored Energy Concepts, Inc. for our expertise with electro-energetic devices (EEDs), our ability to solve problems, and to offer support with the most challenging projects. Our core values are expressed in everything we do: Quality, Integrity, Positive Attitude, and Feedback, with a culture of Respect.
This led to Stored Energy Concepts’ (SEC) involvement in a number of innovative devices. For example, a successful collaboration between SEC and a leading organization in the field of lifesaving medical equipment led toward the design and production of a component we call a “gas generator” used in an FDA-approved lifesaving device. Another innovative design from SEC allowed bank security packs to be much thinner and therefore remain hidden to thieves.
Examples like these are why SEC continues to be your solution for electro-energetic devices that can on demand produce gas, cut, push, ignite, puncture, or even turn a dial. As always, our commitment to quality and honesty drives all aspects of our business and assures that you, the customer, will receive the highest quality products in the world.
